BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced.

Have you ever wondered that the great thing in the world is not really where we stand but in what direction we are moving. Life is filled with terrible misfortune, but your achievement in life is determined by the way you live your life, how much value you put in life. Do you want to live in fear or falling or catching fire.

The most important opinion you have is the one you have of yourself, and the most significant things you say all day are those things you say to yourself. Don't ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive. Ask yourself these questions today: where are you now; where are you going and; how do you intend to get there, then work on it.

I choose to spend the whole of my day as though I have no sad moments, to allow my living to open me, make me less afraid, more transparent and accessible, to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise and as a success.

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the love of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a restoration of the honour or worth of social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because I have lived.

Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else (Judy Garland), never try to live in another’s shadow, it is better to be hated for what you are, than to be loved for something you are not. Being yourself in a world that is continually trying to make you something else is a great triumph. You win when you accept your failures and mistakes, pick up the pieces, and continue striving to reach your goals.

"Success is not measured by what you accomplish but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds" (Orison Swett Marden). Stand up to your feet now and say no to your defeat, believe in yourself, do your best and leave the rest to the Almighty God.

Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.

LIFE

"Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it."

~ Mother Teresa
